Looking While Listening:

The Looking While Listening task is done to see what words you child knows. You'll fill out a brief questionnaire to let us know what words your child understand. Your child will be sitting on your lap as two familiar, color pictures are projected on a computer screen in front of your child, for example, a dog and a tree. On each trial, a prerecorded voice names one of two objects in a simple sentence ("Do you see the doggy?") and an eye-tracking machine is capturing your child's eye movements. Parents will be asked to wear opaque glasses to avoid any influence of the child's choice.
